History

Began its educational activities in the semester of 1994-1995 as a second department in our school.
The basic purpose of Anesthesia, anesthesia applications to educate technical personnel needed help. The students during the two-year training anesthesia, intensive care and pain units, the theoretical and practical applications, infrastructure, technical information related to devices used in anesthesia and intensive care units giving experience to teach about cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Anesthesia training program duration is 4 semesters. Attendance is mandatory, and the language of instruction is Turkish. The courses in the program, Faculty of Medicine and SHYO related discipline provided by staff members of the faculty or teaching, professional practice courses, Dokuz Eylul University Hospital, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation ORs and areas of application are performed. All students in the program by completing internships in professional practice and graduate from the program with the title of Anesthesia Technician forms. Positions in the Ministry of Health has opened in recent years, a large part of the current graduating anesthesia technicians are settled. In past years, some of our graduates have been employed within their own university. Except for public bodies other than private hospitals, polyclinics for graduates of the program are a serious alternative to employment. Learning activities required by the program, employment opportunities, and planning, Ministry of Health, Health Departments, public and private health institutions (hospitals, clinics, outpatient clinics and laboratories, medical centers, Public Health Centres, dispensaries, health centers, community health centers, family medicine, etc.) municipalities, in cooperation with non-governmental organizations and professional associations are made.

Vocational high school diploma or high school diploma, placement through a
nation-wide Student Selection Examination.

Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Students take courses in the same program at another university credits, the program continued with the approval of the recommendation of the Directorate and the Health Services Vocational College are accepted as credits counted towards the program.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

2 years, 2 semesters per year, 16 weeks per semester, 120 ECTS in total.
In order to graduate from the program are defined curriculum, professional for 90 ECTS compulsory courses and internships, for a total of 30 ECTS of elective courses must be taken and the ECTS must complete 120. Courses in grade 60 and above. Attendance is mandatory, 70% of theoretical courses, practical courses must attend 80%. Pre-requisite courses that are defined curriculum, which is a prerequisite for the course or courses must be achieved more.

Profile of the Programme

The goal of this program is work to educate health techniquere. This anesthesia technicians can carry out the secretarial services, capable of registration procedures, medical, administrative, and prepare statistical documents, editing documents, preparing patients for examination, editing documents and file operations.
In the program, physiology, anatomy, basic chemistry, basic physics, disease information, pharmacology, such as infectious diseases, as well as courses in the basic medical sciences, general culture lessons. Anesthesia in Primary Care Principles of vocational courses, Applied Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Biomedical Technologies and case studies lessons. Elective courses in the curriculum of professional development, and social and cultural development is supported. 1. ÖSYM our graduates can apply if they are successful in Vertical Jump Test Emergency Response and Disaster Management, Nursing, Nursing and Health Care sections can undergraduate education by making vertical transmission.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Courses, student assessment, course specified forms of promotion rates, course credit in accordance with the theory, application, or both in theory and practice two mid-term exams, homework and assessment course and the course is responsible for the choice. 1 final examination. Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate, students must successfully complete 120 ECTS credits for courses and internships. Course passing system is being implemented in each of the students to be successful in a course grade point average of at least 60 out of 100 is required to provide the final grade. One course exam grade is 50.
