History |
Human Rights Law Graduates Program with thesis is founded within the scope of department of public law in 2016. This program is intended for lawyers who comprehends the human rights which is foundation of law in theory and practice; internalize universal legal principles, have an expert level of evaluating and analyzing legal disputes. Following, researching, analyzing recent national and international developments and solving legal disputes and conflicts; analyzing human rights individually an das a whole, through this specialized education process, having an ability of legal reasoning by comparative and critical thinking and illuminating the society and individuals about legal rights within the perspective of human rights litigation. |

Profile of the Programme |
This program is intended for lawyers who have internalized the universal principles of law and have competency of legal legislation and the fundamental legal concepts and rules. Through a competency based education process, the national and international developments are analyzed legally and the ability of solving and identifying of legal disputes and conflicts is improved. The ability of legal reasoning is deepened by comparative and critical thinking ability. In addition to these objectives, illuminating the society and individuals about their legal rights. |

Evaluation and assessment methods for each course is defined in the the Course Description Form which is prepared by related faculty member / s and included in the information package. Exams and course success notes is subject to the relevant articles of the DEU Regulation on Graduate Education. |
Graduation Requirements |
Second Cycle (Master's Degree) Non-Thesis Program is comprised of courses (at least 85 ECTS), Term Project (5 ECTS), in total 90 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/S/TP grades. |
