Course Objective |
To examine relevant Turkish legislation, comparative law datas, international covenant provisions (especially European Convention on Human Rights and UN Convention on the Elemination of All Forms of Discrimination Againist Women), Constitutional Court decisions and other important judicial decisions and international supervisory mechanisms decisions by explaining concepts of equality, prohibition of discrimination, equality of women and men and discrimination againist women within the framework of gender equality perspective; in this context to emphasize neccesity of equality of women and men in order to existing of real equality, human rights and democracy in a society. |
