History |
Master of Science program in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation was established in 1993. by the approval of The Council of Higher Education under affiliation of The Institute of Health Sciences. The program comprises 4 semesters of which the first two semesters are for courses and the other two semesters are for thesis study. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Bachelor s Degree; having obtained at least 55 from relevant branch of Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) or from exams equivalence of which are accepted; in case of graduate of Faculty of Medicine having obtained at least 50 from Medical Specialty Exam (TUS); having obtained at least 50 from Foreign Language Exam (YDS) or from other foreign language exams equivalence of which are accepted or at least 55 from the exam held by DEU Foreign Languages Institute. Transcript; having obtained at least 65 from the Post Graduate Science Exam. |
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
According to the Regulations of Dokuz Eylül University for Graduate Schools, students are not connected to the right for internal transfer, previously taken courses at another graduate programme by another university with a successful grade may be recognized by the related programmes after the letter of the students includes course contents and the transcript, and by the recommendation of the head of the departments and by the decision of the Board of Directors. The courses taken by the outgoing Exchange students have the recognition at the school either as compulsory or elective. |

Second Cycle (Masters Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (at least 54 ECTS), a seminar (2 ECTS), and field study (4 ECTS) and thesis (60 ECTS) credits. In total 120 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB / S / TP grades. |
Profile of the Programme |
Master of Science program in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation was established in 1993. The aim of the program is to have knowledge about theoretical and clinical applications, improve presentation skills, follow scientific developments and to raise physiotherapists with knowledge and skills of research in their field. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
The students are evaluated with the assesment kriterin which chosen by the lecturer . In order to be successful the student needs to be rated over 75/100 in average for a lecture. |
