Course Objective

To increase the knowledge and to improve the application skills related to evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation in cardiovascular and pulmonary system diseases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Knows the anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular and pulmonary system.
2   2. Knows the pathophysiology of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.
3   3. Knows evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation techniques in cardiovascular diseases.
4   4. Knows evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation techniques in pulmonary diseases.
5   5. Applies clinical reasoning methods in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
6   6.Knows teaching pulomonary rehabilitation program and assessment methods to the patient and family
