Course Objective

To improve knowledge and skills about healing process and treatment in musculoskeletal
diseases related with cervical, throcal region, lower and upper extremities.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows anatomic and biomechanical properties of columna vertebralis
2   Knows most common diseases of columna vertebralis, does assesment and makes the physiotherapy treatment special for the disease
3   Knows anatomic and biomechanical properties of upper extremities
4   Knows most common diseases of upper extremies, does assesment and makes the physiotherapy treatment special for the disease
5   Knows anatomic and biomechanical properties of lower extremities
6   Knows most common diseases of musculoskeletal system, does assesment and plan the special physiotherapy treatment for the disease

Course Policies and Rules

The course has 2 lecturers. Each week will be taught by the responsible faculty member on Tuesdays between 14:50 and 19:15 as 5 course hours. According to their individual credit load for 15 weeks total teaching period; Sevgi Sevi Yeşilyaprak will attend the lecture for 6 weeks in total, Seher Özyürek will attend the lecture for 9 weeks in total throughout the semester and teach the relevant subject.
