History |
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program HEC World Bank Project was started in the academic year 1986 1987. 2 year program consists of four semesters of 14 weeks. This two year program in the process of theoretical lectures, laboratory practices and industry based training is provided. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Program students the basic concepts of science and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration applications in the teaching of manual skills to develop the industrial and laboratory prepared. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Graduates of related vocational high schools gain right to enrol the programme without taking any examinations. Other high school graduates need to take the transition to Higher Education Examination conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Centre and have to obtain adequate score to enrol. |

The student must complete 2 years of study acquiring 120 (ECTS) credits. This degree is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, compulsory 40 days of internship and have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |
Profile of the Programme |
The program covers basic Air Conditioning and Refrigeration knowledge and industry based, theoretical courses are given vocational vocational college classrooms, laboratories, the application of the program are courses. Students in the second year 8 weeks (40 working days compulsory) courses during the application and complete the internship based on their industry. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program, formal education and secondary education is given in Turkish. every year, for formal education and night training education totally (50+50) 100 students are enrolled. The program serves 3 Teaching Assistant. Vocational School in Izmir Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program is used by one laboratory. Higher Education Project of the World Bank has provided laboratory instruments and equipment level of the application can do. Private sector and public sector training and technical excursion services are offered to students. |
