Course Objective

This course provides students with a commercial-type coolers structure, functioning, industrial applications, the design aimed to gain competencies that are required to make periodic maintenance.

1 Industrial grade components and functions of the operation of the cooling system working principle diagram
2 P-h (Pressure-Enthalpy) chart to use
3 Cooling load calculations and the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and the TXV selection
4 Investigation of the efficiency of the system
5 To industrial-type heat sink design
6 A cooling system that is running the data and investigate the efficiency of the system

9 Cold room cooling load calculation and design of circuit elements and the pipe size selection
10 Showcase-type coolers with cooling load calculation circuit elements and the selection of pipe diameters
