Course Objective

The objective of this course is to give the related basic heat , temperature, pressure , thermal capasity concepts and principles to the students and to provide a broad view with interesting hvac system and its daily life applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to explain the interaction between the heat energy and temperature.
2   be able to interpret the heat energy needed to determine the capacity of refrigeration or heating applications.
3   be able to use the thermodynamic laws in order to solve the basic efficiency problems.
4   be able to analyze the vapor compression refrigeration and hvac systems.
5   be able to compare refrigeration and hvac systems.
6   be able to solve the related problems.
