Course Objective

The objective of this course is to give air and water systems basics , constant volume and variable volume air system concepts and principles to the students and to provide a broad view with interesting daily life applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to explain the principles and design of hvac systems(Central air volume (CAV), Variable air volume (VAV) systems,hybrid system and hydronic system)witth their components.
2   be able to compare hvac systemsin point of wiev of economics of energy and application criteria
3   be able to design air ducts for the ducted air conditioning system
4   be able to make periodic maintenance of the hvac systems
5   be able to fix troubleshooting of the hvac system
