History |
Machine Technology Program HECWorld Bank Project was started in the academic year 1986 1987. 2 year program consisting of four semesters of 14 weeks. This twoyear program in the process of theoretical lectures, laboratory practices and industrybased training is provided. Program is to teach students the basic concepts of machine manufacturing and industrial machine with the industrial and laboratory applications designed to develop manual skills. |

The student must complete 2 years of study acquiring 120 (ECTS) credits. This degree is awarded to students who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, compulsory 40 days of internship and have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00 and no failing grades. |
Profile of the Programme |
The program covers the machinery manufacturing industry knowledge and industrybased, theoretical courses are given vocational vocational college classrooms, laboratories and workshops of the program are courses in the application. Students in the second year 8 weeks (40 working dayscompulsory) courses during the application and complete the internship based on their industry. Machine Technology Program, formal education and secondary education is given in Turkish. First classes (F.P. + S.P. ) 120 people, and the second classes (F.P. + S.P. ) 100 people for a total of 220 are in education and training of students. 2 PhD. Lecturer, 1 Lecturer of the program duty. Izmir Vocational School Machine Technology program are used by the two laboratories. These laboratories, materials laboratories and machine workshop. Provided under the World Bank Project of Higher Education, student laboratories, instruments and equipment levels are able to practice. Private sector and public sector training and technical excursion services are offered to students. |

According to the "Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education for Open Education Associate Degree Programs and Vocational Schools Graduates", the Vocational School Graduates, who wish to continue to the Undergraduate Degree, may register to the relevant departments by entering and succeeding the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS). |
