Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with a critical point of view in evaluating translated texts. Students will discuss translations using various theoritical approaches and translate texts.

1   Define different possibilities when translating texts
2   Find and implement appropriate solutions when analyzing translated texts
3   Comment on translator decisions by determining various strategies
4   Evaluate translations on various subjects with a critical point of view
5   Evaluate problems in the area of translation criticism through examples
