Course Objective

The course aims to help students to develop vocabulary thorugh Anglosaxon, Latin and Greek roots and affixes with a focus on translation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Distinguish between words, phrases and sentences.
2   Identify the inflections and derivations.
3   Use the learned vocabulary through Anglosaxon, Latin and Greek affixes.
4   Translate words into the target language considering the context.
5   Develop skills for predicting the meaning of new words.
