Course Objective

The aim of the course is to define and evaluate the sustainable agriculture systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to make synthesis about the aim and benefits of environmental sustainability
2   To be able to develop the proper models for the projects about transforming the existing systems to sustainable systems
3   To be able to have opinion and solutions about the problems of the today s agricultural systems
4   To be able to understand the importance of the use of sustainable agriculture techniques in agricultural production
5   To be able to develop proper methods and techniques for more sustainable systems

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1. Midterm Exam: The midterm exam covers the subjects, homeworks and assignments in the course content (40%).
2.Final Exam: The exam will cover all the subjects in the course content. Students are also responsible for the discussions, practices, case studies, homeworks and assignments in the course (60%).
3. Resit Exam: Resit exam will cover all the subjects in the course content. Students are also responsible for the discussion, practice, assignments, homework and case studies in the course (60%).

Assessment Criteria

Midterm Exam (40%) + Final Exam (60%) + Resit Exam (60%)
The level of the student's command of the subjects explained in the lesson, performing the applications, understanding the subject and its concepts, establishing a causal relationship between them, giving examples and using the relevant terminology will be measured by exams.
