Course Objective

Recognizing and understanding psychotherapy techniques and their effective application on mood disorders; enriching and reinforcing the theoretical and practical background for psychotherapy administration skills. Discussing the ways to transform the techniques into skills on the basis of theoretical approaches and practical aspects. Rehearsing virtual exercises through case examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognition of similarities and differences of techniques for mood disorders.
2   Identifying the techniques for mood disorders in relevant conceptual framework.
3   Bridging the applications of the techniques for mood disorders with corresponding theoretical approaches.
4   Selecting the appropriate techniques for mood disorders from a pool of techniques.
5   Developing case formulations for mood disorders with respect to techniques.
6   Designing cognitive restructuring for mood disorders with respect to techniques.
7   Proposing intervention program for mood disorders with respect to techniques
