Course Objective

Recognizing and understanding psychotherapy techniques and their effective application on anxiety disorders; enriching and reinforcing the theoretical and practical background for psychotherapy administration skills. Discussing the ways to transform the techniques into skills on the basis of theoretical approaches and practical aspects. Rehearsing virtual exercises through case examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recognition of similarities and differences of techniques for anxiety disorders.
2   Identifying the techniques for anxiety disorders in relevant conceptual framework.
3   Bridging the applications of the techniques for anxiety disorders with corresponding theoretical approaches.
4   Selecting the appropriate techniques for anxiety disorders from a pool of techniques.
5   Developing case formulations for anxiety disorders with respect to techniques.
6   Designing cognitive restructuring for anxiety disorders with respect to techniques.
7   Proposing intervention program for anxiety disorders with respect to techniques
