Course Objective

Discussing concepts of culture and cultural diversifications and the role of cultural differences within the communication process, searching the solution ways for the problems to outcome during intercultural communication process.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Grasping the importance of intercultural communication in a globalising world.
2   Acquiring the knowledge about the theories of intercultural communication.
3   Acquiring the knowledge about the factors that affect intercultural communication.
4   Sampling cultural values and indicators which differenciate due to various societies.
5   Beeing able to compare different cultures in respect to their communication behaviours.
