Course Objective

Turkish sense of humor is based on words. It manifests itself in both colloquial and literary texts. In this course, it is clear to determine the place of humor in Turkish literature by examining the humor in literary texts. In the meantime, examples from literary texts will be given.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can collect the material related to the field from the library or archive and analyze this material in the light of scientific methods.
2   To be able to use / apply knowledge, to make comparative studies during and before the term. Gaining the ability to express critical thinking in a constructive way, to use priority and to express one's own opinion.
3   The student can use the information about the sources of New Turkish Literature in studies related to the field.
4   The student has the knowledge and equipment to teach the discipline / literature in educational institutions.
