Course Objective

The water-related structures will examine throughout the antiquity and the water use practices will explained.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand ancient water systems
2   To be able to understand the working principles of aqueduct, bath and nymphaeum
3   To be able to understand how water is transported to the cities in Roman period
4   To be able to understand the working and operating principles of Roman public latrines
5   To be able to recognize water-related cult areas and structures
6   To be able to recognize the water systems used in Roman private houses
