Besides being an art form, cinema is a mass media and has a social feature. Therefore, there is a strong link between cinema and social life. The orientalist point of view can be reproduced in the social plane through cinema, in which both visual and audio elements can be used effectively. Since cinema is one of the most influential art forms in the cinema, orientalism is dominantly observed. In this context, it is aimed to investigate orientalist reflections through Hollywood, French, Polish and Turkish Cinema and to find new findings.

1   Eastern societies with rich cultural backgrounds and their cultural values. to be able to reapply in design processes with the right approaches.
2   To realize the manipulations of the cinema which is a part of the culture industry and to be able to find solutions to the problems experienced.
3   To provide protection for these effects and to be directed to produce a new alternative language in the productions that the Western world will design from a system of thought that facilitates hegemony on the Eastern world and is fed by prejudices.
