Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the change in different developmental areas (e.g., physical, affective, and cognitive) from old adulthood to late adulthood.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe basic concepts in relation to developmental psychology.
2   Being able to describe main theories in relation to developmental psychology.
3   Being able to summarize basic principles of developmental processes.
4   Being able to explain the relationships of developmental psychology to different subfields of psychology and other related disciplines.
5   Being able to compare the differences and similarities of developmental psychology with/from other subfields of psychology.
6   Bein able to explain cognitive, physical, social and emotional dimensions of developmental processes as a whole
