Course Objective

Acquire the knowledge how to diagnosis and management of hearing impaired children

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire background issues affecting paediatric audiology
2   Understanding of the further rehabilitation needs of children with permanent hearing loss
3   Enable to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge and comprehension as an audiologist to all aspects of the rehabilitation needs of hearing impaired children
4   Develop skills to critically evaluate and analyze information from the relevant scientific literature
5   Synthesise all the relevant information about the patient and, with reference to the evidence base, recognise and select appropriate techniques for successful management and evaluation of that management
