Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce main translation methods and to work mainly on the translation of literary texts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of this course, students will be able to use basic concepts of translation;
2   To analyze texts for translation purposes;
3   To define external and internal factors of texts;
4   To use research methods for translation purposes;
5   To apply basic translation methods.
