Course Objective

Provide knowledge on prescribing individualized exercise program and exercise sampling
due reduction in functional capacity and activity level related to aging.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Assess physical activity level in elderly
2   Know and apply principles and application methods for general exercise program in order to achieve targeted physical activity level in elderly.
3   Know and apply principles and application methods for individualized exercise program in order to achieve targeted physical activity level in elderly.
4   Know and identify the physical activity barriers to achieve targeted physical activity level in elderly.
5   Conduct risk assessment of physical activity program in elderly.
6   Plan and manage group and individual physical activities in elderly.
