Course Objective

.To be able to a religious research about the thesis selected regarding their provinces with information and ability obtained in the area of Ceramics and Glass Design and accordingly to do research litterateur.To be develop new ideas and specific designs and to be start to apply.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to methodological research about thesis selected regarding his/her area of expertise.
2   To be create his/her research as theoretical within the rules of thesis-writing determined from the department
3   To be able to solve the problems and to be able to transform his/her creative and unigue ideas to design.
4   To be able to solve the technical problems during thesis-applying.
5   To be able to present his/her thesis and argue as oral with visual preparation conveniently ethics values and via methodological approach and at a present-day determined in front of jury.

2 Giving information on research methods and presentation techniques
3 Checking the research, methodological guidance and passing along the thesis writing rules to student
4 Determining the starting point of the collection, making its material and technical analysis

7 Selecting the designs that will form the collection and making analysis on presentation sheets
8 Ending the design process, completing the missing parts of the whole projects.Design discussions and transition to the production process

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Within the scope of this lecture;
Thesis advisor and student discuss the scientific research methods on determined subject of the thesis and the student is informed and guided on the methodological presentation, the criteria of expression. The context of the thesis is formed considering the research made by student and within this context,the research is completed.
Entering in designing process of the thesis collection and production phase, the students and the advisor work in coordination according to the criteria defined by the Board of Department.
Prior to the jury; the text of thesis consisting of theoretical study and the collection prepared, technical and presentation layouts and the collection products are evaluated and criticised by the advisor and the student is asked to come up with; the thesis text, portfolio, technical and presentation layouts and collection products for the evaluation jury. The advisor gives information regarding the performance expected from the student during jury evaluation and the student s thorough attendance is provided.
