Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to inform the students about rug and carpet weavings. Moreover, designs that are suitable for weaving techniques will be made in accordance with a selected theme. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
After scanning the literature and visual materials research about carpet and plain weavings, a weaving design will be made in accordance with the selected theme. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
A research file (portfolio) will be prepared after a detailed research and examination about carpet and plain weavings in the lesson. Later on, a weaving design will be made about a selected theme. |
Assessment Criteria |
The assignments and projects will be evaluated out of 100. the attendance will be effective on the pass grade in the rate of 20 %. |
