Course Objective

Firstly students are aimed to learn basic elements of construction to text. Students are focused on paragaph and page layout systems for generate a text. To teach page layout, negative-pozitive space, visual-text relation etc.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to have the principles of construction a text and usi it in practice
2   To be able to create emphasis on page
3   To be able to show on workshop an emphasis on readability and legibility
4   To be able to construct creative and different page layout for a good design
5   To be able to choose the best typeface to design and transfer the message in an effective way
6   To be able to solve the problem given, in the best way and finalized the job.
7   To be able to use the knowledge gained with professional and artistic fields and maintain life-long learning

Course Contents

1 Structures allowing the editing of the text Paragraph systems, spacing, line spacing, punctuation marks, paragraph rules, choosing the correct font, using the correct font Expression with examples on it.
2 Project 1: Designing on letters and numbers.
3 Classification of information and sketch studies.
4 Focus on critical and single sketches through sketches.
5 Critical through studies.
6 Coloring of the selected work.
7 Termination of the selected study.
8 Project 2: Text selection and collection of information. with examples and stabilized by design project.
9 Classification of information and sketch studies.
10 Focus on critical and single sketches through sketches.
11 Critical through studies.
12 Coloring of the selected work.
13 Termination of the selected study.
14 On the projects, preparation, presentation preparations and preliminary evaluation.
