Course Objective

Aim of this course is teach and applied production progress, kiln casting technics , lampworking, important point while you are making designs

3   Know casting techniques inside kiln and lampworking technique in the transition from design to production
4   Design and implementation of correct usage of time and be capable of solving problems encountered in

1 Introducing the glass forming techniques and application
2 Giving information about application progress of lampworking technique and its technical facilities. Explaining the casting methods inside of kiln applying progress and its technical equipments.
3 Applying and explaining the glass property using in Lampworking technique. Describing the glass properties used in casting in the kiln method and explaining the mold making stages.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1. Courses
Faculty members directs students to produce solutions that arise during the implementation about the project themes and issues, wants prepare sketches related with topic.
2. Review Sessions and Class Discussions
Review sessions about selection of the main design, sketch rendering and designing by the faculty member's first and last hour of the course will be held every week. Students participate in class discussions, to submit their views on designs will be greatly encouraged.
3. Applications
Students will be informed about their basic information, how to use a sample applications in the transition from design to production, with the process of the implementation phase.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Students will complement the pressing melted glass to mold ,pull the thin glass rod, glass mandrel wrap, low-high relief.
Student will complete the stages of casting inside kiln implementation of the construction technique of casting model , mold making, putting the glass on to mold and the kiln temperature programs.
Scores given to students related with, (1) attendance status to course, (2)
Öğrenci katılımından elde edilecek puan, (1) derslere katılım durumuna, (2) the student's responses to questions by the instructor during the lessons and the quality of project work in class (3) to create a positive learning environment will depend on the student's contribution.
