Course Objective

to know the effects of biological and physiological mechanisms of exercise and physiotherapy methods on the central and peripheral nervous system and to plan treatment

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to discuss neuroplasticity processes followed by neurological damage, their relationship with neuroanatomical systems in the brain and the biological mechanisms of reorganization.
2   to know the mechanisms of exercise approaches on the central and peripheral nervous system.
3   to identify the factors that determine recovery after neural injury.
4   to monitor the interactions of the rehabilitation process and recovery processes and to discuss the problems.
5   to know the neurobiological mechanisms of exercise.
