Course Objective

Explaining with the help of samples the place and importance of autobiography in expressive visual arts and artistic language creation. Presenting the life stories of modern and postmodern artists subjected their works of art properly. Let young artists define their presence, form their artistic language on their biographies, produce artworks.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can define biography and autobiography.
2   Can express biography as an artwork.
3   Knows the contribution of autobiography as a part of literature to visual arts and can use the materials and techniques of contemporary art in post-structuralist understanding autobiographical art projects.
4   Can analyze contemporary visual artworks with melting borders between personal mythology life and art.
5   ability to read out the autobiography, narrative autobiographic effort , memory and cultural elements from contemporary art known about the life suffered deconstructed, re-expression of postmodern local and foreign artists artworks.
6   Placing ones own existence and biography in his/her artistic language with the Project-based education model ability to create autobiographic artistic projects products.
