Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to introduce the basic concepts in the field of developmental psychology of religion and to explain the age graded changes from conception to death.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the important processes in developmental psychology, periods of development and developmental issues
2   Explains the theories of human development
3   Explains how life-span development research is done
4   Students understand how developmental psychology is relevant for the development of religious and spiritual behavior and they are capable of situating and analyzing the development of religion and sprituality within different life phases based on their knowledge about developmental psychology.
