Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of Hellenistic history and civilization, the Ancient Greek civilization, and the Ancient Roman civilization.

2   The scope of the Old West literature
3   The history of Antique Greek literature
4   The history of Antique Roman literature
5   The contribution of the Antique Greek and Roman literature on the history of European literature
6   Ability to indicate the major poets and writers of the Hellenic and Latin literatures
