Course Objective

This course aims to comprehend the structural equation modeling (SEM) that exposes the theoretical structure with deductive approach in scientific studies, to explain the basic concepts related to the model and to have knowledge about confirmatory factor analysis practices in scale development and model designing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   After completing this course, the students will be able to; explain the basic concepts of structural equation modeling
2   Acquire the ability to form a model based on theoretical foundations within the framework of theoretical framework
3   Comprehend the application stages of structural equation modeling
4   Have information about statistical programs such as LISREL and AMOS which are used to evaluate model fit
5   Have information about the studies carried out in national / international field related to SEM
6   Acquire the ability of scale development and model designing

10 Investigation of scale development and structural equation modeling studies within the content of CFA
