Course Objective

This course aims to teach research methods and techniques used in chemistry education.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Identify term and concept along with research methods and techniques in chemistry education researches
2   Select suitable research type, design, methods and techniques by examining a research problem in chemistry education
3   Understand data collection tools and how to use them
4   Understand how to analyze collected data
5   Understand how to write research report taking into account research aim, questions and criteria for writing
6   Describe topic of validity, reliability and ethics in scientific research
