Course Objective

To get students to apprehend the relation of Seerah with other disciplines and to have knowledge about the history and problems of Seerah within the context of traditional and modern approaches and the thoughts of the East and the West.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   will have knowledge on the place, meaning, and benefits of Seerah discipline and its relation with other social sciences
2   will meet Seerah sources and their types and features
3   will learn different approaches to Seerah writing
4   will apprehend the value and limits of historical data
5   will be able to use the studies in other disciplines and different methodological approaches.
