Course Objective

This course aims at providing information about the relation between language, society and culture, and administer a discussion about the relationship between them and about different cultural and social bases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the main terms related with language, society and culture
2   Explain the relation between language, society and culture
3   Make a study on ethnolinguistics and sociolinguistics.
4   Compare the differences between different languages, societies and cultures
5   Evaluate and review a research which states the relationship between language, society and culture
6   Draw a conclusion by the help of the data which is related with the relation between language, society and culture
