Course Objective

The course aims to provide an introduction to fundamental principles of earthquake hazard analysis.

1   To be able to define the earthquake hazard and earthquake risk concepts
2   To be able to define the Earthquake-Hazard-Risk relationship
3   To be able to define the basic approaches of earthquake hazard analysis
4   To be able to define the earthquake hazard analysies as to earthquake source types
5   To be able to define the seismic risk reduction.
