Course Objective |
To give grounding in core concepts (theoretical and applied) of marine geologist and geophysist for work in a wide variety of past to recent marine environments (coastal zone to the deep oceans). To provide the marine geologist and geophysist with the skills to achieve the acquisition, processing and interpretation of a range of seismic data sets. To teach the marine geologist and geophyscist, a range of key skills including evaluate different schemes of stratigraphic analysis, problem solving, presentation, communication appropriate to this sub-discipline. |
