Course Objective |
Relation with designer, material producer and consumer in the demand and supply balance is identified while contemporary building materials production sector is taken into consideration. Problems and opportunities on design and the usage of contemporary building materials are determined and the subjects within the contexts of contemporary building materials, components, and auxiliary building elements are taken into consideration. This course aims research of new building materials and their applications. |

Course Policies and Rules |
This is a course relying on individual research and group discussion of them in the classroom. Each student chooses a topic and works separately but all members of the class take part in the weekly discussion sessions. Each student prepares and submits his works in form of a research booklet. |
