Course Objective

In context of this course, in addition to researches on the rural , the planning approaches and designs enhanced for rural areas will be elaborated in terms of rural-urban conflicts and their supplementary relations and effort will be spent to make analyses and foster proposals pertaining to specific subjects of research.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In each semester, there will a case study area of rural development and the on-site researches will be accomplished. The studies will be based on learning and understanding the socio-economical and cultural life of the settlement or the region in question and there will additionally be written or drawn proposals fostered for solving the problems of the settlement.
