Course Objective

The aim of the Course is to convey the basic qualities of the concept of communication to the individuals who will form the qualified workforce of the service sector; to enable them to produce solutions to the communication problems they will encounter in their working life; It is to gain competence in matters that need attention in effective communication.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the elements and processes that make up the concept of communication that affect individual and social life.
2   Basic communication skills are developed; have knowledge about teamwork, problem solving and crisis management.
3   Gains acquisitions on the correct use of mass media
4   In working life and in the service sector; Understands the requirements, justifications and realities of communication between employee-employer-service-administration
5   It provides the examination of consumer/user attitudes and behaviors in the context of communication.
6   Gains the cultural phenomenon and intercultural communication practices.
7   Learns methods and strategies for effective communication.
