Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to give knowledge about dome design as a construction method, a structural upper cover, a shape element and a space determinant, to illustrate dome use in architecture from the viewpoint of both structure and sustainability and let the students prepare and present a paper. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course will be taught in a lecture, student group presentation and design application format. First the lectures will be given. Then a dome design study will be done, and after that student groups will present their research on the 11th, 12th and 13th weeks. General recognizing of the course subjects will be done on the last week. |
