Course Objective

Presentation and description of igneous rocks based on their structural forms, textures mineralogical properties and geochemical affinities. Mentioned properties of igneous rocks are examined and discussed in company with inner structure of the earth, rules of plate tectonic, phase diagrams. During field studies, the given information and practice are presented and discussed with students in natural environment of geological events. Comparisons of primary and secondary factors of the igneous rocks are given to discus in the light of geological timescale and 3D-modelling.

2   Description of igneous rocks based on emplacement forms
3   Development and emplacement of igneous rocks based on plate tectonics
4   Melting and crystallization modes of igneous rocks
5   Classification of igneous rocks using their geochemical properties
6   Interpretation tectonic environment of igneous rocks using their geochemistry
7   Interpretation of igneous rocks using phase diagrams and explain the magmatic evolution
8   Using mineralogical, geochemical and their tectonic environment solving the geological problems
