Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of psychological challenges and opportunities in work settings while providing the fit between the individual and work.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the perception of work life.
2   Comment on the historical change in the meaning of work .
3   Internalize the conditions of satisfying and efficient working environment.
4   Identify the psychological and social problems of individuals at work.
5   Interpret the individual's attitudes towards work, human relations and work place.
6   Learn about selection techniques.
7   Find out the techniques of employee performance measurement.
8   Realize effective training methods used in organizations.
