Course Objective

The objective of this course is to evaluate the concept of occupation with all dimension and to identify the related aspects of this concept with the concept of competency.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define the concept of occupation and the process of professionalization
2   Being able to define the concepts of competency and ability and to relate with the concept of occupation
3   Being able to recognize the national and multinational corporations that have role for identifying the basic competencies and to know the basic functions of this corporations
4   Being able to analyse the basic competencies that is necesarry for various occupations
5   Being able to constitute the vocational education programs in terms of anticipated competencies for future occupations
