Course Objective |
This course is for students who are new to the topics of Operations Research. The course emphasizes the application of Operations Research for solving business problems. The students are expected to develop problem modeling and solving skills and to learn how to make intelligent business decisions from the optimization point of view. Game theory, decision analysis, network models, queueing systems, markov chains, non-linear programming, multi-criteria decision making and goal programming topics will be discussed to make the students capable of developing mathematical models concerning these topics and using special solution methods to find the best solutions to these models. |
