Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop awareness of child abuse and neglect, as well as to provide knowledge and skills in prevention and intervention methods

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1- Students explain the basic concepts of child abuse and neglect 2   2- Students describe the signs of child abuse and neglect 3   3- Students explain the effects of child abuse and neglect on children 4   4- Students learn the national and international legal regulations related to child abuse and neglect, 5   5- Students prepare the psycho-education programs fro preventing child abuse and neglect 6   6- Students learn the intervirew skills with the abused children
