Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop awareness of child abuse and neglect, as well as to provide knowledge and skills in prevention and intervention methods

1   1- Students explain the basic concepts of child abuse and neglect
2   2- Students describe the signs of child abuse and neglect
3   3- Students explain the effects of child abuse and neglect on children
4   4- Students learn the national and international legal regulations related to child abuse and neglect,
5   5- Students prepare the psycho-education programs fro preventing child abuse and neglect
6   6- Students learn the intervirew skills with the abused children
