Course Objective

The aim of this course is to make students grasp methods and approaches necessary for them to continue an effective and efficient history teaching and make them to gain qualities to produce new solutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the strategies to motivate students
2   To be able to list the basic themes to use in history teaching
3   To be able to list the basic areas to use in history teaching
4   To be able to summarize the basic methods to use in history teaching
5   To be able to use the basic tools and techniques and choose the appropriate methods
6   To be able to develop skills to continue the history courses effectively
7   To be able to gain the skills to apply the developments in educational sciences in the Wold and Turkey on history teaching
