Course Objective

Main objective of this course is to enable students with the general framework of Central Asian Turkish history, civilization and culture.

1   To summarize the general frameworks of Central Asian Turkish history
2   To analyse the general framework of Central Asian Turkish history
3   To understand the political history of Turkish states established in Central Asia
4   To analyse the Turks social, political, religious and economical living in Central Asia

1 Harezmshahs, the leadership of Atsız, Harezmshah and Seljuks struggles, Ilarslan and the laying foundation of independence state
2 The accession of Harezmshah to empire level, Harezmshah and Mogul relationship, the decline of Harezmshah State
3 The appearance of Chingiz Khan on the history stage, the establishment of Mogol Empire
4 The Otrar incident and the west expedition of Chingiz Khan, the Chingiz Khan s partition of country among his sons and his death
5 The general situation of Moguls after the great khan, the great khanate of Ogedey and the continuation of Mogul conquests, the sultanate of Monke
6 The dispersion of Mogul s central omnipotent and the rules of Moguls separately as Çagatay, Kubilay, Ilhanlıs and Altunordu Khanates on the wide
7 The marks that left in Turkish and world history by Chingiz Khan and by Mogul Empire that founded by himself
