Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to ensure that prospective teachers are able to understand and apply the importance of argumentation in chemistry education.

1   After completing this course, the students will be able to 1) Explain the importance of argumentation in chemistry education.
2   2) Compare different methodologies in the argumentation
3   3) Explain the properties of an argument-based science learning model
4   4) Evaluate the impact of the argumentation on conceptual understanding
5   5) Develop written and oral argumentation examples in chemistry education
